Pear Basil Lemonade

Ingredients to make Pear Basil Lemonade

  • 2 fresh ripe pears (roughly chopped with skin)
  • 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar or 1 tbsp honey (adjust according to your taste)
  • 8-10 Basil/ Indian tulsi leaves
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 cups water
  • Some ice cubes

How to make Pear Basil Lemonade

  1. Place chopped pears in the jar of blender. Add lemon juice, sugar, basil/tulsi leaves, cumin powder and salt.
  2. Blend the mixture until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add 1 cup of water and blend it again. Strain the mixture into a mixing bowl.
  4. Pour the remaining 1 cup of water and stir.
  5. Serve in glasses filled with ice cubes. Garnish with a lemon.
