Methi Aloo fry

Ingredients to make Methi Aloo fry

  • 500 gm Methi (Fenugreek)
  • Green Chillies, 2
  • 7-8 garlic pieces
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • Potatoes
  • Tej patta
  • Coriander power 1 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Garam Masala, to taste
  • oil
  • Fresh Cream 1 teaspoon

How to make Methi Aloo fry

  1. Cut Potatoes into slice and deep fry them.
  2. Grind Methi, Onion, Tomatoes, Green chilles, garlic in the mixer grinder to prepare a paste.
  3. Put 1 tablespoon Oil into a pressure cooker and add tej patta, coriander powder, red chilli powder and the paste. And Add fresh cream to it.
  4. Stir it nicely for 10 mins.
  5. Add salt, black pepper accoding to your taste.
  6. Add fried Potatoes and garam masala, kasuri methi and stir it well.
  7. Add a cup of water.
  8. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and wait for 2 whistles.
  9. Serve hot!
My Tip: While adding water, make sure the gravy doesn't get thick.
