Cauliflower Bhurji

Ingredients to make Cauliflower Bhurji

  • Cauliflower 500 gm
  • Boiled peas 1 bowl
  • Chopped onion 2
  • Chopped tomatoes 2
  • Chopped green chillies 1
  • Chopped garlic cloves 6-7
  • Pav bhaji masala 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Coriander leaves and paneer for garnishing

How to make Cauliflower Bhurji

  1. Chop the cauliflower in the chopper into very small pieces. Then boil the water, add salt and turn off the gas, then add the cauliflower. After 5 minutes remove the cauliflower from the water.
  2. Take a pan, add oilo heat, add in the cumin seeds and asafoetida (hing). When the cumin seeds become brown in colour, add the chillies and garlic.
  3. Add onions in it and saute on a full flame. Once it becomes brown, mix in the tomatoes, then add in all the spices with the red chilli powder. Fry it well till it leaves the oil.
  4. Next, add in half of the boiled cauliflower and peas, at last add some butter for a moistured look.
  5. Serve it hot alongside rice or roti to enjoy!
My Tip: When you boil the water, add the turmeric so that the smell and color of the cauliflower comes out nice.
