Chicken Kadhai - Afghani Style

Ingredients to make Chicken Kadhai - Afghani Style

  • Chicken - 1/2 kg
  • Ginger - 1 tbsp finely crushed
  • Black pepper - 1/2 tsp crushed
  • Green chillies - 5-6 slit lengthwise
  • Salt - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Ginger juliennes - for garnishing
  • Oil

How to make Chicken Kadhai - Afghani Style

  1. In a kadhai, add chicken and cook on high flame till it changes colour
  2. Add ginger, black pepper, green chillies and salt. Give it a stir
  3. Heat oil to smoking point In a separate pan.
  4. Add this oil to the kadhai and simmer it covered for 5 minutes
  5. Drizzle lemon juice over it and mix
  6. Garnish with ginger juliennes and serve hot with roti or naan!!!

Adding it to a really hot kadhai and not stirring it for some time, will not cause the chicken to stick.
