Ingredients to make Carrot and peas dry veggie

  • 4 medium size carrots
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • pinch asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder

How to make Carrot and peas dry veggie

  1. Peel and chop the carrots into small size.
  2. In a wok heat up oil and add cumin seeds and asafoetida.
  3. Add carrots and peas together as the seeds crackle.
  4. Add salt sauté in medium flame for 3-4 mins.
  5. Add turmeric powder and cover and cook on low flame for 4-5 mins till the carrots turn little soft.
  6. Add coriander powder and red chilli powder and cover and cook for another 2-3 mins.
  7. Sprinkle garam masala powder and switch off the gas.
  8. Serve hot with your favourite roti or parantha.
