Tomato Salna

Ingredients to make Tomato Salna

  • oil 1 tsp
  • fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric 1 tsp
  • onion 1
  • tomato 3
  • red chilli powder
  • Grated coconut 1/4 cup
  • salt as required
  • coriander leaves as required

How to make Tomato Salna

  1. In pressure cooker heat oil add fennel seeds after add onion.saute it well
  2. Grind tomato to make tomato puree and set aside
  3. And grind coconut and water to make coconut paste.and keep aside
  4. Saute onion till golden brown after add tomato puree.cook for 5 min
  5. Now add coconut paste.add little water
  6. Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Mix well to combine.
  7. Cook for 4 whistles.sprinkle coriander leaves and serve it with idli or parota
