Chicken Tangdi

Ingredients to make Chicken Tangdi

  • Chicken legs 4 pieces
  • Green chillies 3-4
  • Hung curd 1/2 cup
  • Ginger 1" piece
  • Garlic 8-10
  • Chicken masala 1 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red mirchi powder 1 tsp

How to make Chicken Tangdi

  1. Wash and clean the chicken legs.
  2. Grind the ginger, green chillies and garlic together.
  3. Mix all the dry ingredients and add the hung curd and grounded masala to mix well.
  4. Add chicken legs and mix well to marinate for 3-4 hours in the fridge.
  5. Till then prepare the coriander and mint dip according to taste.
  6. Take a pan or grill pan and add 1 tsp of oil to heat.
  7. Put 1/2 tsp of chicken masala in the heated oil and instantly add the marinated chicken legs.
  8. Saute for a few minutes till it changes color. Add a little water so that it does not stick to the pan.
  9. Close the lid and mix again for 5 mins. Once again close the lid and cook till the chicken is done.
  10. Serve it hot with dip, onion rings and a splash of lemon. Enjoy!
