About (Yetekya) Banana appam Recipe

This is a delicious recipe of appam made with bananas.

(Yetekya) Banana appam

Ingredients to make (Yetekya) Banana appam

  • Kerela banana
  • sugar 2 tbsp
  • salt Pinch
  • maida + rice flour 2 cups
  • turmeric for a little colour
  • oil for frying

How to make (Yetekya) Banana appam

  1. Peel the banana and cut them length wise and then into halfs
  2. Take the maida and rice flour add turmeric salt sugar
  3. Add water and make a batter which is thick. So that when the bananas are dipped into it it covers tthem comppetly
  4. Keep oil for frying.. once hot dip the banana in the batter and fry them on both sides until light brown
  5. Remove and enjoy crispy yetakya appam

My Tip:

Add sesame seeds to the batter for crunch
