Cutlets with the goodness of spinach and corn. Easy to put together and loved by everyone!

SPINACH CORN CUTLET

Ingredients to make SPINACH CORN CUTLET

  • spinach - 1 cup
  • Boiled sweet corn - 1/2 cup
  • Boiled potatoes - 1 (mashed)
  • Bread slices - 2
  • onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  • red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Bread crumbs - 1 cup
  • cornflour - 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Cooking oil for shallow frying - 4 tbsp

How to make SPINACH CORN CUTLET

  1. Take bread slices in water for few seconds and squeeze gently.
  2. Clean, wash and chop spinach. Add water to a cooking vessel and boil spinach in it for 2 minutes.
  3. Combine spinach, potato, corn, mashed bread, onion, salt, red chili powder and chat masala in a bowl.
  4. In another bowl combine flour and salt. Make paste by adding little water.
  5. Add a tbsp. of oil to a pan for shallow frying. Divide spinach-corn mixture into equal portions and flatten then lightly.
  6. Dip these in cornflour mix and roll in bread crumbs mixture. Fry on medium flame until light brown on the both sides.
