Creamy rich mutton curry with very few spices, yet tingles the palette.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton (500 gm)
  2. Fried onion paste (3 tbsp)
  3. Kaju paste (1 tbsp)
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  5. Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  6. Yoghurt - 2 tbsp
  7. lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  8. Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
  9. Salt
  10. Refined oil/ghee
  11. Pudina leaves
  12. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil the mutton pieces along with the ginger- garlic paste in a pressure cooker. Keep aside.
  2. 2. Heat a copper bottom kadhai or a heavy pan, with ghee/oil. Add the mutton pieces, fried onion paste, kaju paste and salt.
  3. 3. Cook for 2 minutes, add the yoghurt, red chilly powder, lemon juice , garam masala powder. Cook till oil separates.
  4. 4. Then add the water from the boiled mutton to make a gravy. Add Pudina and coriander leaves. Serve.
