Banana sooji halwa

Ingredients to make Banana sooji halwa

  • banana medium size -1
  • sooji / ravai -1/3 cup
  • sugar-1/4 cup
  • Milk -1/2 cup
  • cardamom powder -big pinch
  • ghee - 4 -5 tsp
  • Pinch salt.
  • For garnishing few cashews,raisins,pistachio & almonds chopped.

How to make Banana sooji halwa

  1. Keep ready all the ingredients.
  2. Heat 2 tsp ghee roast cashews and raisins.keep aside.
  3. Then roast sooji in same pan.
  4. Then we have to add chopped banana( 1 cup),1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 cup milk one by one.
  5. Add finely chopped banana, mix well.
  6. Then add sugar,stir nicely till sugar melts.
  7. Then add milk,pinch of cardamom powder and mix well.add small pinch salt.
  8. Add 2 drops of edible yellow food colour( optional) and 2 tsps of ghee.
  9. Stir and add roasted nuts and raisins.
  10. Mix one more tsp ghee and switch off.
  11. Banana sooji halwa is ready.yummy.

My Tip:

Adding yellow food colour is optional.
