Ingredients to make Poha dhokla

  • 250gram soaked poha
  • Oil- 2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves- a few
  • Til- 1/2 tsp
  • Rai- 1/2 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Chilly green or red powder
  • Dhaniya -a few leaves
  • Sugar- optional
  • 500ml Butter milk

How to make Poha dhokla

  1. In a pan take 500ml. Butter milk and mix soaked poha in it. Add salt, chilly, dhaniya powder, sugar (optional) salt, green chilly pieces stir properly and put pan on a gas. If required add some butter milk. When it is properly mixed then spread out on thali and steam.
  2. Now for tadka-Heat oil add rai, til, jeera curry leaves and green chilly. Pour on poha dhokla thali, cut into pieces and serve hot.
My Tip: In green chutney add stem of coriander and groundnut and 1clove garlic, lemon and jeera for yum taste.
