Curd gulabjamun

Ingredients to make Curd gulabjamun

  • curd - 1 kg
  • all purpose flour - 150 gms
  • Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • oil - for frying
  • oil - for frying
  • For syrup
  • sugar - 2 cup
  • water - 2 cup
  • cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • saffron - few strands

How to make Curd gulabjamun

  1. Hung the curd in a muslin cloth for 4 - 5 hours then we get thick curd.
  2. Add all purpose flour and baking powder in the hung curd and mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the gulab jamun.
  4. Heat sugar and water in a pan and boil till two stir consistency.
  5. Add saffron strands and cardamom powder and mix well.
  6. Add the fried gulab jamun in the sugar syrup.
  7. After two hours serve
