Ingredients to make Chicken Sizzler for chicken lovers

  • For chicken biryani-
  • Basmati rice (soaked for 1/2 hour) 3/4 cup
  • Sliced onion 1/2 cup
  • Cloves 2
  • Black cardamoms 2
  • Cinnamon stick 2 inch
  • Green chillies 2
  • Jeera 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Garam masala powdet 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chicken 250gms
  • Thick curd 1 cup
  • Lemonjuice 1tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  • Red cilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • For boneless chicken in sauce
  • Boneless chicken breast cut into 1 inch piece 200 gms
  • Diced capsicum 1
  • Finely chopped onion 1 small
  • Sugar 35 gms
  • Tomato sauce 1/4cup
  • Lemon juice 1/4 cup
  • Soya sauce 1tsp
  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Galic cloves finely chopped 3 to 4
  • Salt to taste
  • All purpose flour 1/2 cup
  • For chicken balls
  • Minced chicken 100 gms
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Finely chopped onion 1 /2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Egg beaten 1/2
  • Oil 1/2 tbsp
  • Finely chopped garlic 1/2tbsp
  • Dried red chilli 1
  • Finely chopped ginger 1/2tsp
  • Soya sauce 1/2tsp
  • Red chilli paste 1/2tsp
  • Sweet chilli sauce 1/2tsp
  • Corn flour 1tsp
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Grated cheese 15 gms
  • Onion rings to garnish
  • Cabbage leaves for sizzler bed

How to make Chicken Sizzler for chicken lovers

  1. In a non-stick pan heat oil,add sliced onions and sute it till light brown. Now add all dry masala except red chilli powder saute it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Marinate chicken pieces with curd,lemon juice,ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder for 1 hour in refrigerator. Add this marinated chicken in the cooked onion spice mixture, mix well. Cook it for 5 to 6 mintues.
  3. Now add soaked rice to it along with 1 1/2 cup of water.cover it and cook at medium flame for 10 minutes or till it is done. For boneless chicken in a bowl mix flour, salt, black pepper powder very well. To this add chicken pieces and make sure that they are well coated.
  4. Heat oil in a pan add chicken pieces and cook for 8 minutes untill it is cooked and become golden brown from all the sides. In another pan heat 1 tbsp oi ladd garlic, onion, capsicum and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes till slightly soft.
  5. To this add chicken pieces and toss well. Now add tomato ketchup, soya sauce, lemon juice, sugar and bring it to a boil. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes stirring it continously.
  6. For chicken balls take a bowl add minced chicken, coriander leaves,onion,salt very little,egg cornflour and mix well.Make balls and stuff it with cheese and deep fry all the balls. Heat oil in a pan, add ginger,garlic and dried chillies and saute it.
  7. Then add soya sauce , chilli paste,sweet chilli sauce and saute it. Add chicken balls and toss. Heat the sizzler plate till red hot . Now arrange cabbage leaves. On it first- on left hand side keep biryani after that boneless chicken and on right hand side chicken balls. Garnish with onion rings.
