About RAYALASEEMA EGG ONION ROAST Recipe

This is a very simple and easy egg dish that can be served with rice and this can be made instantly with just a few ingredients available at home.

RAYALASEEMA EGG ONION ROAST

Ingredients to make RAYALASEEMA EGG ONION ROAST

  • 1 tbsp oil (adjust as needed)
  • ½ tsp urad dal
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • ¼ tsp cumin/jeera
  • 1/8 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 2 red chillies
  • A few curry leaves
  • 4 boiled and de-shelled eggs
  • Pinch of turmeric (optional).
  • For the masala Onions : 1 big sp coriander seeds
  • 1 table spn Dry coconut powder
  • 1 table spn red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt

How to make RAYALASEEMA EGG ONION ROAST

  1. Masala Preparation Grind all the masala ingredients adding some water till it becomes a smooth paste.
  2. Boil eggs, de-shell them and set aside. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan, add all tempering ingredients and sauté for half a minute.
  3. Add the masala paste and sauté for 4 minutes then add half cup of water, mix well and let it cook for about 3 minutes.
  4. Then add boiled and half cut eggs to the masala, mix gently and cook for 1 more minute, turn off the flame. The Rayalaseema Egg Onion roast is ready.
  5. Remove to a serving bowl. Serve with rice, poori, dosa, bread and chapathi.
