About Beetroot Dip/ sauce Recipe

This sauce is tangy and sweet, balsamic vinegar gives the flavors of the dip a fantastic lift. This is mouthwatering recipe and you will be making it again and again.

Beetroot Dip/ sauce

Ingredients to make Beetroot Dip/ sauce

  • One big beetroot grated
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
  • Juice of half lemon
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon of chat masala

How to make Beetroot Dip/ sauce

  1. In a saucepan cook all the ingredients together for 2 to 3 minutes. When done remove from the heat and blend in the mixer. Don’t forget to adjust the seasoning. When prepared, pass through a strainer for a smooth texture.

My Tip:

I made my kids fall in love with beetroot via this sauce. Now there is jar of beetroot dip in my fridge and we are using it in the place of tomato sauce.
