Black Grapes Jam

Ingredients to make Black Grapes Jam

  • 1 bowl of black grapes, chopped
  • 4-5 tbsp of sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

How to make Black Grapes Jam

  1. Cook the chopped grapes on a high heat by stirring continuously for 2 mins.
  2. Add the sugar and stir continuously till the mixture is pulpy.
  3. Once the grapes are pulpy, grind the mixture in a blender.
  4. Pour the grounded pulp in a pan and cook it on a high heat for 5-10 mins while stirring continuously.
  5. Turn off the heat once you get your desired consistency.
  6. Once it cools down a bit, add lemon juice. Let the jam cool completely and store in a glass jar.

My Tip:

If you do not want the bits of skin in the marmalade and prefer a smooth jam, sieve the grounded pulp before cooking it again. You can make the procedure more simple by cooking the grapes and sugar in a pressure cooker and cook for 1-2 whistles till the grapes get tender.
