Balushahi

Ingredients to make Balushahi

  • 1.5 cup maida
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 4 tbsp ghee
  • 6 tbsp curd
  • Milk
  • ghee for frying
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 200 ml water
  • Cardmon powder
  • saffron strands
  • pista
  • rose petals for garnish

How to make Balushahi

  1. Take maida in a bowl
  2. add baking soda
  3. Add ghee and rub in flour
  4. Make flour crumbly
  5. Add yogurt and make soft dough
  6. Keep this dough for 45 to 50 min
  7. Then make balls of it and press with thumb in center
  8. Heat ghee and Fry all of them in lower to medium flame in ghee
  9. And cool them to room temperature
  10. Add sugar and water in a pan
  11. And make chashni
  12. Add 2 tsp milk so all sugar impurities will come out
  13. When two strings chashni ready off flame
  14. Add saffron strands and cardmon in it
  15. Add all balu shahi in it and keep for one an hour
  16. Garnish with pista and serve
