About Sheer korma Recipe

This dish was mainly made at the time of Eid . But I love to make it any time in this way.

Sheer korma

Ingredients to make Sheer korma

  • Milkmaid- 1/2 can
  • Milk - 750 ml
  • Fine simai ( vermicelli) - 1 cup ( roasted)
  • ghee - 1 tbsp
  • sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Mini rosogolla- 10 - 12
  • Mini gulabjum - 10-12
  • Chopped dates - 1/4 cup
  • Chopped fried almonds - 1/4 cup
  • Fried cashew - 10 - 15
  • Chopped petha - 1/4 cup
  • kesar - 1/2 tsp
  • Rose water few drops
  • cardamom powder - 1 tsp

How to make Sheer korma

  1. Boil the milk with kesar.
  2. Heat ghee and shallow fry the fine simai or vermicelli.
  3. Add milk into simai and boil for 5 minutes. Simai becomes soft .
  4. Add sugar , milkmaid and cardamom powder. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Switch off the gas and add rose water , also add other ingredients too.
  6. Cool and serve my style of sheer korma.

My Tip:

Donot add rosogolla in boiling sheer korma. May be curdle the milk
