Carrot halwa ladoos with gulkand stuffing

Ingredients to make Carrot halwa ladoos with gulkand stuffing

  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup milk powder
  • 2 tbsp milkmaid
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 2 to 3 tbsp gulkand
  • Gems for garnishing
  • Sugar coated fennel seeds for garnishing

How to make Carrot halwa ladoos with gulkand stuffing

  1. Keep ready all the ingredients
  2. Washed, peeled and grated the carrots
  3. In a kadai heat ghee
  4. Now add the grated carrots and saute
  5. Saute continuously on medium flame till you get the fragrance and the carrots change their colour.
  6. Then add the remaining ingredients except garnish and mix well.
  7. Cook till it leaves the sides of the kadai
  8. Transfer the halwa on a plate once done.
  9. Now once the halwa is cool, grease your palms and take a small portion of the halwa , make it flat stuff in the gulkand and roll it in form of a ladoo.
  10. Repeat the same with the entire mixture.
  11. Once all the ladoos are prepared place a colourful gem and sugar coated colourful fennel seeds
