This recipe has been adapted from our Tamil chechi.
Something very simple n tasty ofcourse healthy
Take a large bowl and mix together the ingredients, flour, fenugreek leaves, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, oil and salt.
Next put in a couple of tablespoons of water and knead to form a smooth dough.
Store this aside for 15-20 minutes.
After this time period, take the dough and divide it into small equal sized balls.
Roll out each ball and fry on a tawa/griddle until both sides turn golden brown.
Make sure to apply ghee/butter on both sides of the paratha after removing it from the heat.
Serve with homemade pickles or chilled yogurt.
