Shahi Tukda

Ingredients to make Shahi Tukda

  • milk 1/2 lt
  • bread 4 slices
  • desi ghee 3 tbsp
  • cardamom 2
  • saffron strands 10-12
  • almond
  • pistachios
  • fried cashew
  • sugar 1 cup

How to make Shahi Tukda

  1. Bring half litre of milk to boil
  2. Add 10-12 saffron strands to 1 cup of milk
  3. Stir the boiling milk till reduced to half
  4. Add saffron milk to it
  5. Now add cardamom powder
  6. Add 3 tablespoons sugar
  7. Cut bread into heart shaped
  8. Heat sufficient ghee in a pan
  9. Fry the bread
  10. Until golden brown
  11. Take it out
  12. Arrange in a plate
  13. Make sugar syrup with 1 cup sugar and half cup sugar
  14. Dip the fried bread in the sugar syrup and take it out immediately
  15. Arrange the bread slices in a plate and Pour the reduced milk or rabdi from the top
  16. Garnish with fried cashew,pistachios and almond
