About Stuffed chilli pickle Recipe

The stuffing gives it a unique texture and adds flavour to the chillies.

Stuffed chilli pickle

Ingredients to make Stuffed chilli pickle

  • 1/2 kg green chillies
  • 1 tbsp saunf
  • 1 tbsp amchur powder
  • 1 tbsp salt or according to taste
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp hing
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • oil 1/2 cup
  • 5 tbsp besan (gram flour)

How to make Stuffed chilli pickle

  1. Wash the chillies well and split them lengthwise.
  2. On a heated griddle, roast the besan for 1 minute on a low flame.
  3. In a bowl, mix the besan, saunf, hing, amchur powder, salt and turmeric powder. Stuff the chillies with this dry mixture.
  4. In a pan heat oil on medium flame, add mustard seeds. When it starts crackle add chillies and salt.
  5. Saute it for 5 minutes or till it turns out soft and golden brown in colour.
