Stuffed Bhajji Bonda

Ingredients to make Stuffed Bhajji Bonda

  • gram flour - 250gm
  • Jeeragam Powder - 1/2 tablespoon
  • chilli Powder - 1/4 tablespoon
  • asafoetida - A Pinch
  • chilli Bhajji - 6
  • onion - 1/2 chopped
  • tomato - 1/4 chopped
  • capsicum - 1/4 chopped
  • tomato sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sweet chilli sauce - 2 tablespoon
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • pepper - 1/4 tablespoon
  • salt to taste

How to make Stuffed Bhajji Bonda

  1. For Batter
  2. Mix gram flour,jeeragam powder,asafoetida,chilli powder and salt.
  3. Add water little by little and whisk it well until a smooth batter is formed.
  4. For Stuffing
  5. Mix onions,capsicum,tomato,tomato sauce,sweet chilli sauce,olive oil and pepper.
  6. Slit the bottom of the chilli bhajjis and remove the seeds.
  7. Stuff the above mixture in to the chilli bhajjis.
  8. Dip the stuffed chilli bhajjis in the batter mixture and coat it well.
  9. Deep fry the chilli bhajjis in a medium hot oil until they turn golden brown.
  10. Stuffed Chilli bhajji is ready to be served.
