Mewa kheer brunch

Ingredients to make Mewa kheer brunch

  • Lotus seeds / makhana - 1/4 cup
  • Milk - 1 ltr
  • sugar - 4 tbsp
  • saffron strand - a pinch
  • clarified butter - 1 tsp
  • Green cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Dry nuts powder (Cashew nuts,almonds,walnuts) - 1/2 cup
  • Kevra water - 1 tsp

How to make Mewa kheer brunch

  1. Boil milk in a heavy bottom vessel
  2. Once boiled,keep it in a low flame
  3. Chop roasted makhana / lotus seeds in a small pieces and add in the milk.
  4. Add sugar and mix well
  5. Add dry nuts powder and soak the saffron in two tbsp cold milk and add in the kheer.
  6. Add cardamom powder and kevra water and mix well.
