Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 300 gram paneer
  2. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  3. 1 tsp coriander seeds
  4. 3 tsp mustard seeds
  5. 1/3 cup fresh grated coconut
  6. 5 cloves
  7. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  8. 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  9. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1/2 tsp paprika
  11. 1 tsp jaggery
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF CUMIN & CORIANDER SEEDS TO A GRINDER
  2. ADD 8-9 DRY RED CHILLIES, 2 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS
  3. ADD 1/4 CUP FRESH GRATED COCONUT, BLEND TILL SMOOTH
  4. ADD THIS PASTE INTO 300 GMS CUBED COTTAGE CHEESE
  5. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF GINGER & GARLIC PASTE, 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
  6. ADD 1 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, SALT TO TASTE, MIX WELL
  7. COVER & KEEP ASIDE FOR 1 HOUR
  8. HEAT 3 TBSP OIL, ADD 5 CLOVES, 1 INCH CINNAMON STICK, 1 CUP CHOPPED ONIONS
  9. ADD 1 TSP GINGER-GARLIC PASTE, SAUTE FOR 5 MINS ON MEDIUM HEAT
  10. ADD THE MARINATED COTTAGE CHEESE, FRY FOR 3-4 MINS
  11. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, SALT TO TASTE
  12. ADD 1 TSP POWDERED JAGGERY, THE RESERVED MARINADE
  13. ADD 1/4 CUP WATER, MIX, COVER & COOK TILL SOFT
  14. GARNISH WITH HANDFUL OF CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, TAKE OFF HEAT
  15. SERVE HOT WITH ROTI OR RICE
