About Mixed Lentil Fritters Recipe

It is an Indian savory dish made with variety of lentils and spices.

Mixed Lentil Fritters

Ingredients to make Mixed Lentil Fritters

  • 1 cup chana dal
  • 1/2 cup moong dal
  • 1/2 cup urad dal
  • 3 to 4 dried red chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • A pinch of hing
  • salt required
  • oil for frying

How to make Mixed Lentil Fritters

  1. Wash and soak the dals for 2 to 3 hrs atleast
  2. Strain and grind to a coarse paste along with garam masala, red chilly, salt and hing
  3. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Add onions and coriander leaves.
  4. Mix all and shape them into small balls and flatten them a bit
  5. Fry the balls in oil until they turn golden brown
  6. Serve hot with coconut chutney

My Tip:

Adding onion is optional
