It is a great way to use left over mashed potatoes in a fun filled method

Mashed Potato Cones

Ingredients to make Mashed Potato Cones

  • Mashed potatoes - 1 cup
  • Chopped garlic - 1 teaspoon
  • cream - 1/2 cup
  • pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - to taste
  • For Cones :
  • all purpose flour - 1 cup
  • White sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Melted ghee - 2 tablespoon
  • salt - to taste
  • oil - for frying

How to make Mashed Potato Cones

  1. Mix flour sesame seeds salt in a bowl with melted ghee. Add some water and knead into a soft dough.
  2. Keep it covered for half an hour.
  3. After that divide the dough into equal portions.
  4. Roll the dough into long strips and wrap them around the metal cone.
  5. Fried them out when become golden brown.
  6. For mashed potatoes filling heat the cream with chopped garlic in a low flame for 2 minutes.
  7. Grind the mashed potatoes with cream mixture along with some salt to a smooth paste.
  8. Add some pepper powder too.
  9. Filled the mashed potatoes mixture in a piping bag.
  10. Squeeze them out on the fried cones. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on the top of it..

My Tip:

You can use puff pastry too
