Idly stuffed with paneer and mushroom

Stuffed idly

Ingredients to make Stuffed idly

  • Idly batter 4 cups
  • onion chopped 1 cup
  • tomato chopped 1 cup
  • ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  • chilly powder 1 teaspoon
  • turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt
  • Garam masala 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves

How to make Stuffed idly

  1. In a kadai add oil and onion.
  2. Saute till transparent
  3. Add tomatoes and saute
  4. Add mushroom and all powders
  5. Cook covered in low flame
  6. Stir often
  7. Add paneer grated and salt
  8. Mix well
  9. Add coriander leaves
  10. In an idly plate add half spoon batter and add the paneer mixture
  11. Pour more batter to cover it
  12. Steam cook as normal idly
  13. Serve hot
