It is nutritious recipie consisting of multigrain flour and palm jaggery..this is healthy and super nutritious snack for kids ..variations can be done with rice flour and ragi flour

Multigrain peanut balls/thokku urundai

Ingredients to make Multigrain peanut balls/thokku urundai

  • Multigrainflour-1cup
  • peanuts-1/2cup
  • jaggery-3/4 cup
  • water-for kneading dough
  • salt-to taste

How to make Multigrain peanut balls/thokku urundai

  1. In a bowl add multi grain flour and salt add required amount of water and knead well to form dough
  2. Rest dough for 5 mins and form in to balls..spread like chapathis and cook over low flame with sesame oil/ghee
  3. After cooking these chapathis tear in to bits and run over blender coarsely..coarsely ground peanuts when its warm..
  4. Pound palm jaggery and run over blender
  5. In a bowl add coarsely ground palm jaggery ,peanuts and chapathis
  6. Mix everything well and form in to balls and serve
  7. This can be stored only for 4-5 days
