This lettuce wrap is a common universal recipe . So easy to make and a very healthy breakfast option to kick start a busy day .

Ingredients to make Romaine lettuce egg wrap

  • eggs 4
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • salt as required
  • White pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • butter / Olive oil 1 teaspoon
  • Romaine lettuce / any lettuce that is easy to wrap and hold - 2 to 4

How to make Romaine lettuce egg wrap

  1. Firstly. let’s prepare scrambled eggs .
  2. In a bowl , break and pour the eggs . Add the salt .
  3. Add pepper , milk and little oil/ butter.
  4. Whisk this mixture thoroughly till it turns frothy .
  5. Heat butter / oil in a pan .
  6. Pour this whisked mixture to the pan . Keep beating even while pouring the mixture .
  7. Wait for few seconds till it starts cooking .
  8. Using your spatula , without mashing , just scramble the eggs by stirring it quickly . Let the eggs get cooked . Needn’t turn dark .
  9. Scrambled eggs are done . Remove from the heat .
  10. In a serving plate , arrange the cleaned lettuce .
  11. You can use lettuce leaves in doubles too . It’s optional .
  12. Now arrange the scrambled eggs inside the lettuce wrap( like filling ) .
  13. Serve warm .

My Tip:

Don’t burn the eggs under high flame . Adding milk gives fluffy eggs .
