A healthy & tasty Thai dish, with the aromas of Thailand.

Chilli prawns on warm salad.

Ingredients to make Chilli prawns on warm salad.

  • Prawns 10
  • red chilli sauce 2 tbsp.
  • oil to shallow fry prawns.
  • For the dressing
  • sugar 2 pinch
  • Fish sauce 1 tbsp
  • lemon juice 1/2 lemon
  • Veg for Salad
  • capsicum red & green. 1/4 each, Cut into julienne pieces.
  • cucumber 1/2 small.sliced
  • onion 1 small.sliced
  • Salad leaf 1/2 cup. Cut into big cubes
  • coriander leaves & mint leaves 1/4 cup.chopped.
  • To saute
  • Salad oil 1 tsp
  • Minced garlic 1 cloves.
  • lime leaf 1 chopped.

How to make Chilli prawns on warm salad.

  1. Marinate prawns with chilli sauce. Keep aside
  2. Mix the ingredients given for dressing. Stir till sugar is dissolved.
  3. Heat a pan with oil to shallow fry prawns. Fry all prawns. Don't make very crispy.
  4. Remove.
  5. In the same oil, add salad dressing. Then put garlic, chillies & lime leaf. Fry for 1 sec.
  6. Then add onion, fry. Then put all veg , the prawn marinated sauce , if any, & the fried prawns.
  7. Toss well till everything is well coated with dressing.
  8. Keep on fire for a few seconds. The veg should be crispy.
  9. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Make this dish only at the time of serving, as veg should be a bit crispy. Or it will b soggy & will lose all taste.
