About Vegetable momos Recipe

Momos have become a very popular snack all over India, so I also have tried a version of the same at home and sharing the recipe with all of you here.

Vegetable momos

Ingredients to make Vegetable momos

  • maida 1/4 kg
  • salt to taste
  • water to mix
  • cabbage 1/4
  • Garam masala 1 spoon
  • garlic 6 no
  • oil 3 spoon

How to make Vegetable momos

  1. Mix maida, salt in a mixing bowl, add required amount of water to it and knead semi soft dough, keep aside to rest.
  2. Chop the cabbage and garlic
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add cabbage & garlic, saute for few minutes.
  4. Add salt and garam masala powder. Let this cook without addition of any extra water.
  5. Cook it with lid on, for 5 minutes, then it is ready for filling
  6. Now make a sack with the maida dough and fill it with cabbage filling
  7. Steam the momos in a steamer for 15-20 minutes.
  8. You can also deep fry them instead of steaming.
  9. Below picture is deep fried momos.
  10. Serve it tomato source or pudhina chutney
