Broken wheat rava Adai

Ingredients to make Broken wheat rava Adai

  • broken wheat -1 cup
  • dhoor dal-1/4 cup
  • Chana dal -1/4 cup
  • moong dal -1/4 cup
  • Urad dal -1/4 cup
  • onion - 1 finely chopped
  • coriander leaves- small amount chopped
  • curry leaves- small amount chopped
  • ginger- small piece - finely chopped
  • fennel seed-1/2 tablespoon
  • salt - required amount
  • oil

How to make Broken wheat rava Adai

  1. Wash all the dal and broken wheat
  2. Soak them for 2 hrs.
  3. After 2 hrs grind the soaked broken wheat first.
  4. Now transfer them in to a bowl.
  5. Now add all the dal, fennel seeds and grind them well
  6. Now transfer the dal mixture in to the bowl
  7. Now add chopped onion, coriander leaves, green chili, chopped ginger, curry leaves and salt
  8. Mix them well . Adai batter is ready for use now.
  9. Heat tawa and apply oil to it. Slowly pour the batter and shape it like dosa.
  10. Pour oil around . Let it cooked for some time
  11. Turn over the Adai and cook the other side till golden brown
  12. Serve with powdered jaggery and coconut and mint chutney.
