this is one of my favorite idli and chutney,made out of semolina/rawa and tempering with curry leaves,urad dal,chana dal gives awesome taste to these idlies,rawa is firstly roasted and then soaked in curd,I made bite size idlies you can make big one also,it can be served with regular chutney or coconut chutney so friends lets try these idlies
in a pan add oil on slow flame
as it becomes hot add cumin seeds
add mustard seeds
break and add cashewnuts
add curry leaves
add urad and horse graam dal
as cashewnuts changes Colour add rawa
dry roast everything for 2minutes
switch off flame
cool rawa for 10 minutes
now add curd and salt
mix thoroughly
add water if needed
now keep aside for 10 minutes
now add a sachet of eno
batter will start bubbling
grease idli moulds
pour batter and steam for 10 12 minutes
now coconut chutney preparation
add coconut and roasted dal to jar
add green chilly
add salt
grind to fine paste
if needed add water
remove idlies after cooling
serve with chutney
