A basic-classic white sauce which can be altered according to any Italian recipe.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Flour (maida)
  • 1 tsp White pepper powder
  • Salt to taste

Recipe Preparation

  1. Melt butter in a hot pan.
  2. Add flour immediately once the butter is melted.
  3. Stir continuously till flour dissolves.
  4. Add milk, and stir well.
  5. Add salt and pepper and stir till the sauce becomes thick.
