Health has been one of the guiding principles of my life. Since food and fitness naturally complement health, I became a fitness buff in my teens and experimenting with “healthy food” at the same time. When I was (20) I decided to make a career as a fitness trainer. As a fitness trainer, I learned that while people were taking care of their bodies by exercising, the food they were eating might be achieving the opposite. People needed food that was both healthy and flavorful. The notion that healthy food involved two sticks each of carrot and celery with a little olive oil and sea salt drizzled on it needed to go. So I decided to change that. After decades of cooking and a Cordon Bleu certification in Basic Patisserie and Basic Cuisine, I am proud to bring you that very concept of food that is low on the calories but still a treat on the taste buds.
