From health point of view i would suggest try using ingredients that childrens dont tend to eat easily... so alter and twist your routine recipes a bit to make them colourful as well as nutritious... pita bread rolls made out of whole wheat, oats idli wid added corn and carrots cubes, variety of flavored rice like palak pulav, fried rice with sprouts, pesto sandwich with brown bread, brocolli upma with cashews...
