Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 whole chicken
  2. 5 cloves of Garlic
  3. 5 Dried Red Chilly
  4. 1 medium sized ginger
  5. I medium size tomato
  6. 1/2 tea spoon of Ajinomoto salt
  7. 3 table spoon Bamboo Shoot Juice
  8. a handful of spring onions
  9. salt to taste


  1. Cut the Chicken into medium sized pieces. Place the chicken in a large pot and add water. Cover pot and bring it to boil for 15 mins.
  2. Add the chilly, bamboo shoot, ajinomoto , grounded ginger, tomato and salt to taste.When the chillies are cooked, take them out,mash it into a paste and put it back into the chicken.
  3. Cover pot and cook until the meat is cooked.
  4. Garnish with spring onions.
