Kadhi -healthy treat

Ingredients to make Kadhi -healthy treat

  • For kadhi : curd - 500 gm or half kg
  • Besan 2 tbsp
  • Red chillies-2
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp Grated Ginger
  • One onion chopped
  • 7-9 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 tsp dhania dry crushed
  • 1/2 tsp haldi
  • Salt per taste
  • Oil- 2-3 tbsp
  • Sugar 1/4 tsp optional
  • For pakoras:
  • One onion chopped
  • 1/2 tsp kasturi methi
  • salt as per taste
  • Besan one medium cup
  • Oil for frying

How to make Kadhi -healthy treat

  1. Pakora: to besan add chopped onion,salt,kasturi meethi, little water to make batter not runny but of slightly thick consistency.
  2. Heat oil fry them at medium flame till Golden brown
  3. Keep all on tissue paper
  4. For kadhi: heat oil to it add red chilli whole, jeera, dhania, curry leaves, garlic, ginger ,onion.saute it for 3-4 min
  5. To it add haldi,sugar ,1/4 tsp optional
  6. Then in bowl of curd add besan ,salt,mix well
  7. Add it to onion mix and stirr continuously till first boil to get smooth texture. Let it simmer at medium flame till it gets little thick
  8. Add pakoras,simmer it in kadhi for 2-3 min
  9. Serve hot.
