About Instant Nariyal(Coconut)Chutney Recipe

This delish Coconut chutney is served as a condiments to varieties of dishes and take it to an another level..Many South Indian dishes are incomplete without it.

Instant Nariyal(Coconut)Chutney

Ingredients to make Instant Nariyal(Coconut)Chutney

  • 1 big coconut
  • 1/2 Cup Roasted n soaked Bengal Gram Daal
  • 1 inch ginger Piece
  • few curry leaves
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • salt to taste
  • For tempering
  • few curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp split white Urad daal
  • 3-4 Slit green chillies
  • Few mustard seeds
  • 1tbsp oil

How to make Instant Nariyal(Coconut)Chutney

  1. Break the coconut into pieces
  2. Grind the coconut, soaked Bengal Gram Daal(Soaked for 15 mints), ginger,salt n green chillies to a fine paste.
  3. Take oil in a small pan.let it smoke n put mustard seeds, urad daal , saute for a while now put curry leaves n green chillies.
  4. Let them crackle now pour over the chutney

My Tip:

Keep the coconut in the fridge for a day before breaking it...This way it helps to break the coconut easily n it comes out complete easily..
