ABOUT Lobia and potato masala RECIPE

Lobia and potato masala is a super delicious stir fried sabzi. Lobia ki phali are also known as Green long beans or Chinese long beans. They are unique and flavourful and easy to prepare. Like other beans they are tasty and nutritious.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Green long beans (lobia) 250gms washed and cut in desired sizes
  2. Potato 2 cut in slices
  3. Chopped onion 1no
  4. Chopped green chilli 2no
  5. Chopped tomato 1
  6. Ginger garlic paste 2tsp
  7. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  8. Coriander powder 1tsp
  9. Sabji masala powder 1tsp
  10. Garam masala powder 1/2tsp
  11. Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  12. Kashmiri red chilli powder 1/2tsp
  13. Salt as per taste
  14. Oil 1tsp

Instructions

  1. HEAT OIL IN A PAN AND ADD CHOPPED ONION AND GREEN CHILLIES.
  2. STIR AND COOK FOR 2MINS.
  3. ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND SAUTE 2 MINUTES.
  4. ADD CHOPPED TOMATO AND MIX.
  5. TAKE ALL THE SPICES IN A BOWL AND ADD SALT TO TASTE.
  6. ADD WATER AND MIX WELL.
  7. WHEN OIL LEAVES THE PAN SIDES ADD THIS MIXTURE.
  8. MIX WELL AND COOK FOR FEW MINS.
  9. ADD THE CHOPPED BEANS AND POTATOES AND MIX WELL.
  10. COOK COVERED TILL DONE.
  11. STIR IN BETWEEN.
