Prawns Pepper Gravy

Ingredients to make Prawns Pepper Gravy

  • Prawns - 200 gms
  • onion - 3 finely chopped
  • tomato - 3 finely chopped
  • ginger garlic paste - 3 tbsp
  • saunf - 1 tsp (dap it before you add)
  • pepper - 1/2 tbsp
  • Pearl onion - 10
  • chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Dhaniya powder - 2 tbsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp
  • cinnamon - 1 inch
  • oil - 5 tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Prawns Pepper Gravy

  1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadai. Add pearl onions and pepper, saute well. Then add ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp and saute again, then let it cool down and make it a smooth paste.
  2. Now again add 3 tbsp of oil, heat it then add saunf, let it splutter. Then add onion, cook until transparent. Add tomato and saute well. Once they get mushy, add ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp and saute again. Add chilli powder, dhaniya powder and turmeric powder and mix well, let the masalas cook well.
  3. When you find the raw smell going, then add the smooth paste prepared and mix well.
  4. Now add prawns and cook for just 7 minutes not more.
  5. Remove from flame and add coriander. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Do use fresh ginger garlic paste for perfect taste.....
