Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 ltr full fat milk
  2. 1 CUP MANGO PULP
  3. Pinch of saffron strands
  4. 1 tsp Saffron food colour
  5. 1 small bowl sugar
  6. 1/2 bowl curd
  7. Chopped almonds and pistachios

Instructions

  1. Keep the milk to boil.... Keep the flame on a high heat... Once the milk comes to boil add the Saffron strands, reduce the flame and simmer for 5 mins or till it reduces to 3/4th of its quantity...
  2. After 5 minutes add the sugar mix it well and cook for another 2 minutes...
  3. After 2 minutes switch of the flame let the milk cool down... Till it reaches luke warm temperature...
  4. Add the mango pulp, mix well till there is no lumps...
  5. Beat the curd till there r no lumps... Now mix this curd into the milk...
  6. Fill this mixture in earthen pots or bowls... Cover it with aluminium foil and steam bake for 15 minutes...
  7. After 15 minutes switch of the flame leave the pots as it is for 3 hrs so that the curd sets...
  8. After 3 hrs keep it in the fridge for about an hour... So that it gets firm... While serving garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios...
