ABOUT Blackforest Shots RECIPE

This desert is a blackforest miniature assembled in a shot glass. A treat for the eyes as well as tongue. You wont stop at one shot...Dil mange more.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 200 ml cream
  2. 1/2 cup dark choclate
  3. 1/2 cup whipped cream
  4. Choclate cake soonge
  5. For Garnishing:
  6. Choclate chips
  7. Whipped cream
  8. Cherries canned

Instructions

  1. 1. For Choclate Mousse/ Truffle: Heat Cream in a pan, when heated add this hot cream in a bowl of choclate so that it melts. Allow it to cool for 20-30 mins.
  2. 2. Now in a piping bag pour this choclate truffle. Take a shot glass, now pipe out choclate truffle at the base
  3. 3. Now top of this choclate truffle place 3-4 deseeded canned cherries
  4. 4. Cut the cake sponge using cookie cutter as to the size of shot glass. Now place cake sponge on top of the cherry layer. Moist the cake sponge with cherry syrup.
  5. 5. Now again pipe out the choclate truffle till the rim of the glass and tap it with palate knife to smoothen the surface. Keep it in refrigerator for setting.
  6. 6. Now while serving. Take whipping cream and blend it using electric blender till peaks are formed. Place it in a piping bag with star nozzle and pipe it out on top of each glass. Place a cherry on top of the Peak. Grate or place choclate shavings on top and serve.
