Vegetarian Chilli

Ingredients to make Vegetarian Chilli

  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cups black beans or rajma boiled and cooked in a pressure cooker
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup capsicum
  • 2 table spoon oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup fresh corn kernels
  • 0.5 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper powder or chilli powder
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • Tortilla chips 1 cup

How to make Vegetarian Chilli

  1. Take a pan and heat some oil sauté the onions
  2. Add the capsicum and tomatoes and sauté well for 5-20 minutes
  3. Add the tomato puree and let it boil for 5 minutes
  4. Add the boiled black beans and add the salt, oregano and cayenne pepper
  5. Serve with corn kernel and cheese on top
  6. Dip a few tortilla chips to enjoy the dish

My Tip:

The oregano gives the chilli a heavenly flavour
