Butterscotch Pudding

Ingredients to make Butterscotch Pudding

  • milk - 2.75 cup
  • Dark brown sugar - 1 cup
  • cornflour -1/4th cup
  • salt - 1tsp
  • egg yolks - 2
  • eggs - 1
  • Vanilla extract - 1.5 tsp
  • butter - 3 tbsp
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • water - 2 tbsp
  • butter - 1 tbsp

How to make Butterscotch Pudding

  1. Whisk the egg, egg yolks, sugar and cornflour till a pasty consistency is obtained.
  2. Heat the milk, till it is about to boil. Slowly add this hot milk to the yolk mixture slowly while whisking it.
  3. Put back the mixture into the saucepan onto heat, and stir while this cooks. When a thick consistency is obtained, remove it from it.
  4. Now add the vanilla extract and butter to the mixture, pour them into bowls or serving dish. Cool them n chill it in refrigerator.
  5. Boil the sugar and water together till a light Brown color is obtained.Remove it from heat and add the butter. Pour this mixture into tray, cool and break them into random pieces. P.S : the sugar mixture will be extremely hot and dangerous, can burn the skin so be very careful while handling.
