Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 cups Cooked and cubed potatoes
  2. 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  3. 3 tsp Sesame oil
  4. 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  5. 2 tsp Dry mango powder/Amchur powder
  6. 2 tsp Salt
  7. To dry roast:
  8. 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  9. 1/4 tsp Asafoetida powder
  10. 1 tsp mustard seeds

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the ingredients given under the list dry roast and powder them as fine powder, keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, let the mustard seeds splutter, add the ground powder, red chilli powder and fry for a few seconds.
  3. Add immediately the cubed potatoes, salt, dry mango powder and toss everything gently until the potato gets well coated by the spices.
  4. This pickle tastes best after an hour.

hi Priya tried this dish it was absolutely delish..just one question is it supposed to be dry or wet? cuz with the oil quantity mine came out dry. also when to add the salt?
