Ingredients to make Dry fruit and nut pooranrolls

  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/4th cup rice flour
  • 1tsp salt, and jeera
  • For the pooran
  • Great coconut of 1 cup measure
  • 1/2cup jaggery and add to this all kind of dry fruits and nuts like dates, figs, black currants and finely chopped cashew, badam pistha.
  • Cardomum powder1tsp
  • Ghee to make the dosa

How to make Dry fruit and nut pooranrolls

  1. To prepare the pooran in a nonstick vessel put the greated coconut, jaggery dry fruits pwderd nuts and cardamom
  2. Stir well all the ingredients in low flame untill the jaggery melts and everything gathers
  3. Switch of flame and let cool
  4. Now for the dosa mix the w & R flour jeera with water to a pouring consistency. Add salt. Heat a nonstick tava. Pour the batter to shape of dosa.
  5. Add ghee along the edges this dosa gets cooked quickly. Now take the pooran and place along one edge of the dosa and roll it carefully and remove and arrange in a plate.
  6. If you still need something you can drizzle maple syrup or honey.

My Tip:

The nuts can be roughly powderd
