Healthy Salmon made in traditional Indian Style.

Salmon Hindustani

Ingredients to make Salmon Hindustani

  • Salmon cut into pieces 500 gms
  • curd (preferably hung) 1/2 cup
  • garlic and green chilli paste 1 tsp
  • gram flour (besan) 2 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Ajwain 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • mustard oil - 1 tsp

How to make Salmon Hindustani

  1. Wash and clean salmon slices. In a bowl mix curd with all the ingredients.
  2. Apply on the salmon pieces and keep in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade for 5 minutes.
  3. Keep Salmon with skin down on the tray. Grill it for 15 - 20 minutes on one side till done.
  4. Then turn over carefully and grill for another 10-15 minutes. Serve with green chutney, ketchup and sliced onions.

My Tip:

The more the marination time the tastier is the Salmon.
